      10 facts about Easter

      1. Lent: Easter marks the end of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance observed by many Christians in preparation for Easter.

      2. Easter Foods: Different cultures have their own traditional foods for Easter. In the United States, a common Easter meal includes ham, lamb, or roast beef, along with side dishes like potatoes, vegetables, and hot cross buns.

      3. Symbolism of Eggs: The tradition of Easter eggs dates back to early Christians in Mesopotamia and later adopted by Christians in medieval Europe. Eggs are seen as a symbol of new life and resurrection.

      4. Easter Vigil: In the Christian liturgical calendar, the Easter Vigil is held on the evening of Holy Saturday, marking the end of the Easter Triduum (the three-day period of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday).

      5. Date Variability: Unlike fixed-date holidays such as Christmas, Easter’s date changes each year. It falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the vernal equinox. This means it can occur between March 22 and April 25.

      6. Commercialization: Like many holidays, Easter has become increasingly commercialized, with the sale of Easter-themed decorations, candies, and gifts. However, for many Christians, the religious significance of Easter remains paramount.

      7. Easter in Different Cultures: While Easter is primarily a Christian holiday, it is celebrated in various ways around the world. In addition to religious observances, some cultures incorporate their own customs and traditions into Easter celebrations.

      8. Easter Parade: Easter parades are a cultural tradition in many parts of the world, especially in the United States. These parades often feature participants wearing elaborate bonnets and costumes, marching bands, and floats.

      9. Religious Origins: Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, as described in the New Testament of the Bible. It is considered the most important event in Christian theology.

      10. Easter Bunny: The Easter Bunny is a folklore figure originating in German Lutheranism. It represents a rabbit who brings baskets filled with colored eggs, candy, and toys to children on Easter Sunday.

      My Favorite Sports

      My favorite sport is boxing. It is a very good sport for me, because in that sport we train the whole body.

      Terms of competition

      Maine takes place in a ring with a side length of 4.3 – 6.1 m (for professionals) and 4.9 – 6.1 m (for amateurs).
      The fight continues in the referee’s ring and three (professional) or five (amateur) judges. Fights take place at a previously shortened distance, specifically ten rounds. There are only three rounds in amateur boxing. One round lasts 3 minutes, and the break is 1 minute. In addition, players must wear jerseys and covers;
      The rules for the conduct and resolution of boxing matches depend on the jurisdiction, whether the fight is based on amateur or professional boxing; Violation of the rules may involve reduction of points or disqualification;

      How do fights end?

      KO (knockout) – the fight ends when the opponent knocks out the opponent and the referee counts it to ten.
      The decision to end the fight with a technical knockout can be made by the judge in the ring (then the so-called RSC – the referee stopped the fight), the doctor in the ring, the player himself or his second.
      Datior’s verdict. In professional boxing, referees award points for individual rounds; the player wins the round, he gets 10 points on the scoreboard and the opponent gets 9 points, if there was a tie, both points get 10 points;
      In the case of amateurs, when the participant received a strong blow, the judge has the right to count it in a standing position. this is the so-called knockdown (for professionals, the judge does not count until the participant falls. )
      In amateur boxing, the winner is the participant whose referees count (with the use of automatic machines of a special computer system) more accurate punches. In professional boxing, if the fight is not decided soon, the referees score the winner in each round.

      Basic Rules

      you can not beat below the waist, hold, push, pull, hit, spit, bite;

      you can not hit the head, hand or elbow;

      you can not beat with an open glove, “on a cast”, with a wrist;

      you can not hit the back, neck, kidneys;

      it is not possible to hit by leaning on the ropes and using the lever element;

      You cannot hold the enemy during strikes and dodge so that the head is below the opponent’s belt.
      – When the referee breaks the clinch, take a full step back. It is forbidden to apply blows immediately after splitting;

      You can’t spit on a resting mouthguard.
      – After the knockdown, go to a neutral corner and wait for the referee to count

      You cannot hit a lying, rising opponent.

      A knocked down boxer has up to ten seconds to get up and continue the fight.
      – A fighter hit low has five minutes to recover. If the fight is not resumed after this time, he loses by knockout;

      In case of an injury that prevents the continuation of the fight, the boxer who committed the violation is disqualified.

      If the injury allows the fight to continue, the referee orders the offending player to deduct two points.
